As Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) continues to expand its services in 2026, it is seeking an experienced Patient Accounts Representative to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving mental health and wellness across Bucks County, impacting thousands of lives every day. The position is onsite for the first 90 days for training and integration, with a potential for a hybrid schedule once training is complete. Since 1958, Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) has been a trusted non-profit provider of essential human services in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Its mission is to partner with individuals facing mental health, substance use, or developmental challenges as they pursue personal goals and improved quality of life. With over 30 programs and a commitment to evidence-based care, LVF continues to evolve to meet community needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • ONE year of experience in insurance verification and eligibility review
  • Patient financial communication and customer service
  • Team-based collaboration in a business office environment
  • Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management systems
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Perform insurance verification and eligibility checks
  • Develop a working knowledge of LVF payer contracts and billing workflows
  • Provide support and training to registration, check-in, and other patient accounts staff.
  • Populate and maintain accurate client insurance information into the Electronic Health Record
  • Respond to patient billing inquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Contribute to efficient revenue cycle management and compliance standards
  • Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor
