About The Position
Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a part-time Patient Account Representative to work with our nursing home billing. SHIFT & HOURS: Days, 40 hours per pay period (0.5 FTE) RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with our nursing home residents and family members as needed. Handle all the billing to insurance carriers for residents.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Knowledge of billing regulations that pertain to Medicare, Medicaid, and third party payors such as HMO’s, PPO’s, etc.
- Prefer minimum of 1-2 years of previous claims/billing experience.
- Excellent customer services skills, attention to detail, and a strong team player.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Point Click Care and Epic preferred.
