About The Position

Responsible for accurate and timely preparation and submission of claims to third party carriers and intermediaries, and answering inquiries on a timely basis. Performs secondary insurance billing and rebilling.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Hospital billing or business office experience.
• Thorough knowledge of claims submission process for all major carriers and intermediaries.
• Type of minimum of 40 wpm.

Nice To Haves

• Two years college courses preferred.
• Experience with Meditech billing system or other hospital based billing system preferred.
• Capable of operating a 10 key calculator preferred.
• Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred
