About The Position

The Patient Account Manager (PAM) helps patients with their financial obligations to ESRH and helps them to understand their bill and to determine if they qualify for a slide or insurance. They proof all claims before they are billed and review all slide applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a medical facility.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a community health center.
• Ability to interpret current and past-due invoices and review them with patients.
• Professional, self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication, teamwork, customer service, and computer skills.
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as an Interpreter is preferred.
• Ability to provide bilingual patient care is a plus.

Responsibilities
