Patient Access Specialist - Front Desk
About The Position
Digestive Health Specialists, P.A., a leading gastroenterology group based in Winston Salem, is recruiting for a Patient Access Specialist (Front Desk) to join their team in Kernersville. The practice was founded in 1979 and has grown to serve patients in 5 locations, known for experienced providers and staff who provide friendly, compassionate, high-quality, and affordable care. This front office team member is expected to greet everyone with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, ensuring the patient check-in and check-out process is completed effectively and efficiently. The role requires providing excellent customer service to all patients, visitors, and vendors, and will involve travel to satellite locations as needed. The position is full-time, day shift, with no weekends, nights, or on-call duties.
Requirements
- Typing skills with minimum of 40 WPM
- Word and Excel experience/proficiency
