This position provides appointment scheduling services to patients and referring physician offices by matching physician-specific scheduling guidelines with patient appointment preferences system-wide, utilizing technology. The role involves collecting and maintaining accurate, basic patient information related to registration and insurance in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. It also facilitates positive multi-channel communications among patients, physicians, clinical staff, outreach sites, and internal departments to serve patient and referring physician needs, requiring advanced writing, telephone, e-mail, and internet skills. This is a full-time position, scheduled for 40 hours a week, with typical hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview.
