Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in Medical Terminology.
At least one year of experience in Optional Surgical scheduling.

Responsibilities

Schedule patients for prescribed procedures by communicating with patients, participants, and staff.
Perform patient registration, gathering and entering demographic, insurance, and clinical information into databases.
Resolve scheduling issues by seeking resources.
Efficiently utilize patient and clinical time when scheduling.
Assist with pre-certification/authorization and counsel patients on pre-service requirements and instructions.
