The Patient Access Representative is responsible for professional and efficient operation of the admission/registration process and can work independently in one or more patient access areas in the hospital. Performs a variety of patient access functions related to patient check-in and check-out including: appointment scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and point of service collections. Demonstrates a basic understanding of the revenue cycle. This position works closely with patients and must provide excellent customer service
