About The Position

Creates a welcoming environment by performing reception services to include but not limited to: answering and directing phone calls, greeting, assisting and directing patients and visitors who enter the medical facility. Conducts timely admissions for all patients, updates the insurance and identification information as needed to aid in the future admissions and also to clean up miscellaneous errors so that accounts can be billed properly by the Business Office. This is a full-time, benefited position, totaling 40 hours per week. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess good computer and data entry skills
  • Previous reception or admissions experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Word processing; excel knowledge, and basic windows based computer skills
  • Must have knowledge of professional and accurate telephone answering techniques
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
