About The Position

Provide customer service and seamless entry to patients, families, physicians, physician offices, the community and internal departments throughout SLHS. May include, but is not limited to; pre-admission, main and emergency registration, insurance verification, and other duties as assigned to promote the overall reduction of days in A/R such as billing and collection reports. This individual may also be responsible for determining financial accountability, notifying/collecting of up-front patient financial responsibility, providing information and referrals. All of these require collecting complete and accurate demographic, financial and clinical information, and providing patient instructions and education with excellent customer service. Candidate must exhibit excellent customer service skills with knowledge of the principles and practices of customer service and telephone courtesy. Position requires being able to maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality and dignity at all times, consistently striving for the utmost in patient satisfaction. Requirements

  • 1 year Applicable Experience
  • Diploma - General Studies
  • excellent customer service skills with knowledge of the principles and practices of customer service and telephone courtesy
