About The Position

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our team. You will conduct professional patient interviews, obtaining demographic, financial, and biographical information. This position is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence. Shift Details : PRN Responsibilities : Understands insurance terminology Obtains information to appropriately bill payors Verifies patient insurance eligibility Confirms benefits eligibility Gather statistical information in compliance with federal and state regulations Completes payment transactions by using proper negotiating techniques to professional collect money owed by our Patients and Guarantors Makes referrals to appropriate financial resources, such as payment plans and lines of credit We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and ha s a positive attitude .
