About The Position

Patient Access Representative I assignment for a 13-week contract with a consistent day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This role focuses on front-end revenue cycle operations, including patient registration, financial clearance, insurance verification, and cashiering functions. The representative is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with organizational standards. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills to support patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of relevant experience (as specified)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in patient access, medical billing, or customer service required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Windows-based applications
  • Experience using 10-key calculators required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel between clinics if assigned to a float position
