About The Position

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : To represent Center for Orthopaedics in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner by receiving patients all patients to the Center for Orthopaedics office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Greets and checks in patients in a courteous and friendly manner. Obtains updated insurance cards and identification cards as needed upon arrival. Ensures that insurance verification specialist has verified each patient's insurance and that the insurance is active. Ensures that the patient updates his/her registration according to CFO guidelines. Advises and directs patients, including walk-ins, appearing at the front desk about registration procedures While Checking patients in, monitors charts for credit status of delinquent Accounts or surgery deposits required and directs them to appropriate business office personnel.
