Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years working in medical/and or medical insurance fields.
- Medical terminology.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- The Registrar serves as the liaison between Finance, Nursing, and Physician offices.
- The role obtains accurate demographic information, and records and verifies all pertinent information from insurance companies in respect to a patient’s authorization for services, eligibility, and benefits.
