About The Position

We’re seeking a dynamic Patient Access Manager to lead registration and financial clearance operations across two small critical access hospitals. These facilities see 30–50 patients per day, and the manager will split time between Valley City and Lisbon (approximately 45 miles apart). What You’ll Do: Lead a team of 15 direct reports, ensuring smooth patient registration and access processes. Drive short- and long-term planning for all registration areas, including pre-service and point-of-service financial clearance. Manage operational metrics to meet organizational goals, including service level agreements and budget targets. Oversee staffing activities—hiring, training, performance management—and mentor supervisors to foster engagement and growth. Collaborate with leadership to enforce policies and develop new procedures that align with hospital standards. Communicate proactively with leadership and staff, providing feedback and solutions for continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Strong leadership and customer service skills.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including hiring, training, and performance management.
