As a Patient Access Manager at Henrico Doctors, you can be part of an organization that is devoted to giving back! As the Patient Access Manager, you will work onsite at Henrico Doctors Hospital and support the patient access function of a 300+ bed facility. You will be responsible for assisting the Patient Access Director in daily operations of all patient access functions and serve as the liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility. You will integrate the department's services with the hospital's primary functions, develop/implement policies and procedures that guide or support service, assess and improve department performance, and ensure orientation and continuing education of departmental staff. As a Patient Access leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of 20+ patient registration team members who perform patient registration functions. You will also ensure quality assurance for all areas of registration. The Patient Access Manager will follow-up on patient concerns regarding financial obligations and payment expectations. You will also be responsible for the HR function of the department by interviewing and hiring patient access staff, preparing the work schedules of the department(s) & counseling and mentoring staff.
