They are primarily responsible for completing a thorough admissions process for all inpatients and outpatients. Exemplary customer service skills are vital in this role, ensuring accurate information collection, sensitivity to confidentiality (HIPAA regulations and company policy), and informing patients of their rights. Extensive insurance experience and training are essential. The employee must maintain compliance with state and federal regulatory body requirements regarding access services, including verifying insurance eligibility, compliance, point of service estimates, and collections. This individual will have specific job functions but will also be cross-trained to perform duties for other team members.
