About The Position

Overview Serves as a Call Center agent to support for the Patient Access Registration Call Center within Piedmont Healthcare. Performs Registration activities in a remote environment to ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments. Performs functions for multiple sites across Piedmont Healthcare and includes various services lines including emergency department, L&D, and assigned Outpatient locations. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • 1 year exp in one of the following: Required Healthcare Revenue Cycle Required Clinical role Required Related clerical accounting/finance/retail Required
  • 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle/Call Center experience Preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Epic experience Preferred
  • Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred
