You have an opportunity to work with leading edge technologies, such as Immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, immunofluorescence, multiplex assays, digital pathology and more. This position is based onsite in Tucson, AZ The Opportunity: You will provide crucial pathology and slide reading support for assay development, FDA submissions, clinical trials and collaborating with internal and external development teams. You will be at the forefront of research and development activities by supporting the development of primary antibodies, detection systems, probes and special stains. You will advise on future pathology and medical needs. You will be a medical representative on project core teams and contribute to pathology related aspects of specific development projects. You will drive continuous improvement in work processes, making a direct impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. You will utilize your expertise to advise on future pathology and medical needs, ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve in our industry Who you are: You have an M.D. or D.O. with US Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology and an active state medical license. You are Residency-trained in anatomic pathology with expertise in surgical pathology and a proven ability to assess histopathology, IHC, ISH, and multiplex assays. You are experienced in evaluating complex immunohistochemistry assays such as PD-L1, HER2, and Ki-67. You are a precision medicine innovator and are Passionate about companion diagnostics (CDx) and the "right drug, right patient, right time" philosophy. You are a tech-Forward collaborator: Comfortable utilizing digital pathology scanners, automated algorithms, and advanced staining platforms (VENTANA Benchmark). You thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, working seamlessly with scientists, engineers, and other experts to drive FDA submissions and clinical trial success.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. with US Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology and an active state medical license
  • Residency-trained in anatomic pathology with expertise in surgical pathology and a proven ability to assess histopathology, IHC, ISH, and multiplex assays
  • experienced in evaluating complex immunohistochemistry assays such as PD-L1, HER2, and Ki-67

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship trained with 1 year of experience in clinical practice or industry
  • Prior experience in immunohistochemistry, cytology, molecular and/or genetics
