About The Position

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our hospital-based practice in Owensboro, Kentucky. Candidates based in the Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; Evansville, IN; Indianapolis, IN, and Cincinnati, OH areas are encouraged to apply, as this role offers a hybrid schedule consisting of approximately two weeks per month of on-site coverage in Owensboro and two weeks per month of remote sign-out. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality diagnostic medicine within a collaborative, digitally supported environment. Requirements

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility
Eligible for Kentucky medical license
Excellent diagnostic and interpersonal skills
Strong commitment to a collaborative, team-based practice

Responsibilities

Sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases
Perform frozen sections and intraoperative consultations
Oversee select areas of clinical pathology (e.g., blood bank, hematology, chemistry)
Participate in tumor boards, quality initiatives, and clinical discussions
