About The Position

Independently performs gross examination, dissection, and dictation of all complex surgical specimens; frozen section selection and processing. Handles tissue selection for Biorepository and special studies. Gross Photography and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies. Collaborates with surgical staff and other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field Required
• 2 years experience in Surgical Pathology Preferred

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree of Science or Master of Health Science Degree: from a NAACLS accredited Pathologists Assistant program Preferred
• Amer Soc Clinical Pathology Preferred
