About The Position

Bern's Steak House is looking for a professional pastry assistant who can prep, cook and plate all menu items according to our standards. You will be required to work production shifts as well as line/plating shifts.

Requirements

Attention to detail
Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, late nights and holidays
Must work well with others
Must work quickly in a safe and effective manner
Need to have consideration for guests and maintain a professional demeanor as this is an open station visible to guests
Ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting

Responsibilities

Prep station with all necessary items for plating
Prepare and plate all items according to Chefs' standards
Ensure production quality of all products in high volume fine dining restaurant
Maintain cleanliness of station throughout the entire shift
Maintain safety standards at all times
