We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Pastry Helper in Miami, FL! Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen; bakery or pastry environment a plus.
  • Strong knife skills; must be confident and safe when handling sharp knives.
  • Prior experience with fruit and/or vegetable preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, plating) strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and proper storage practices.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently, minimize wastage, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized, with consistent preparation and presentation.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop, or kitchen environment is a plus.
  • Culinary or pastry coursework/certification is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the pastry production team, chefs, and cooks with mixing and preparing pastry products.
  • Work across various stations, including but not limited to fruit cutting, economy packing, juice preparation, basket assembly, plating, and food assembly.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations as outlined in the Food Safety Management System Handbook.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation to uphold sanitation standards.
  • Uphold DO & CO standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promptly report any food safety concerns to the manager and the hygiene and food safety team.
  • Support additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
