About The Position

801 Chophouse Leawood is hiring for a Pastry Cook position! This is a part-time position working in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest of quality food. Important This posting is specifically seeking to fill a need for a Sunday and Monday day/evening shifts . You must be able to work Sunday and Monday. Additional shifts may be available, depending business needs. Quintessential Steak House , timeless yet contemporary. Requirements

At least 1 year experience, preferably more, in pastry production in high-end/fine dining.
Basic knowledge of molecular gastronomy
Cake making & decorating
Petit fours/Mignardises
Gluten-free
Ice cream/sorbet
Bread making
Ability to effectively communicate with kitchen and front of house team in loud environment
Sunday/Monday shifts are required - day, evening, holidays
Must maintain regular, predictable and reliable attendance
Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time
Continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching & twisting
Physical ability to frequently lift 20-30 lbs, and occasionally up to 50lbs;
Physical ability to squat, kneel, and climb
