About The Position

Pastry Cook 3 is an entry-level role designed for individuals beginning their pastry career in production setting. This position focuses on foundational skills, assisting with prep, and learning high-volume production techniques under the guidance of senior pastry cooks This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the associate occupying this position. Associates will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor.  This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an "at will" employment relationship.

Requirements

  • 1 year of pastry experience; entry-level candidates welcome.
  • Interest in high-volume pastry production and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic prep tasks including ingredient scaling, mixing, and portioning under supervision.
  • Support finishing and packaging of pastry items with care and consistency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following kitchen protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Learn and follow standard recipes, techniques, and kitchen procedures.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards throughout all tasks.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and eagerness to learn from senior pastry team members.
