About The Position
As a Pastry/Baker at our Lakeview location, you will play a key role in creating high-quality baked goods that delight our guests and enhance their dining experience. In this role, you will prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts while ensuring that each item meets our high standards of taste, quality, and presentation. You will also maintain a clean and organized workspace, follow all food safety and sanitation regulations, and monitor inventory levels for baking ingredients and supplies. Collaboration with the culinary team is essential, as you will contribute ideas for new recipes and seasonal menu offerings. Your creativity and passion for baking will help elevate our menu and create memorable experiences for our guests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
Nice To Haves
- Culinary degree or certification in baking and pastry arts
- Experience preparing baked goods for specialty diets (gluten-free, vegan, etc.)
- Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts according to established recipes
