About The Position

Milkco is seeking a 2nd Shift Pasteurizer in our Production Department. The hours are 1:00pm to 9:30pm Monday-Friday, and alternating Saturdays. The Pasteurizer is responsible for processing, batching & mixing all fluid dairy and non-dairy products, while following strict production standards and regulations. They are also responsible for maintaining careful production documentation and some monthly preventative maintenance. They must be able to multi-task with a high attention to detail while maintaining a positive attitude and working independently. Milkco will train the right candidate! Milkco, Inc. is a Fluid Milk Plant. We process, bottle, and ship fluid milk, juice, tea, and eggnog. Established in 1982 with 50 employees, the plant has grown to 250+. Compensation Information: Automatic 60-Day Pay Review Automatic Annual Pay Review Shift Differentials Employment Requirements: Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening (provided by Milkco). Will conduct a Criminal Background Check. Must pass an E-Verify Screening. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand a minimum of 7 ½ hours per day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs. Experience: Will train the right person. Prefer that applicants have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must want to work and have excellent attendance. Need to be cooperative and able to get along with a lot of people. Must be a team player with the ability to contribute in a team atmosphere

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in food or beverage production preferred.
  • The ability to keep meticulous documentation.
  • Previous experience with computerized process controls.
  • Some mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Prefer that applicants have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
