About The Position

The role of Parts Warehouse is to perform a variety of tasks in receiving and shipping parts and maintaining / organizing the warehouse area. Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Employee must have the ability to occasionally lift 75 pounds from floor to chest; reach and use the arms with a full range of motion; endure prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting while performing mechanical operations; exert push and pull forces with the arms in order to use various wrenches and tools; endure prolonged forward and overhead arm positions while performing mechanical operations; use hands to grasp hand tools and parts and climb onto and operate equipment.
• Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.
• Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer one-year parts/warehouse related experience.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of company specific software.

Responsibilities

• Receives parts that are shipped in, making sure that they are received in good condition and that packing slips for inventory control.
• Packs and ships parts to both customers and suppliers in the most efficient manner.
• Maintains a log of all outgoing shipments and all shipping and receiving damages or shortages as well as other documents necessary to protect the inventory investment.
• Stocks all parts into the proper location in the parts warehouse after they have been checked in.
• Operates a fork lift truck.
• Keeps all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean, neat, and clearly labeled.
• Assists Warranty Administrator and Inventory Coordinator when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
