About The Position

San Antonio Thermo King is Now Hiring a Parts Warehouse at 5807 Dietrich Road San Antonio, TX 78219 Responsible for the movement of parts/products and organization of assigned Thermo King Warehouse. This position is from 10:00am – 7:00pm

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 1 (one) year of experience working in a warehouse and inventory operations is preferred.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs. from floor to shoulder level occasionally.
Ability to frequently exert the pound force limits for push/pull 50lb f (no wheels) or 100lb f (wheels).
Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands, and fingers.
Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.
Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
Exposed to cold, heat, noise mechanical/electrical fume or odor.
Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift.
Will be required to work at a minimum height of four feet off of the ground.

Responsibilities

Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders.
Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets or in bins.
Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to service department.
Ensuring warehouse is accessible, well organized and safe for service and salespeople at all times.
Weighing and counting of physical inventory.
Weighing and counting items for distribution.
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
Preparing parcels for mailing.
Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.
Will be required to be on call (after a few months of training)
Operate a forklift.
All other duties as assigned.
