About The Position

The Parts Warehouse Associate will be responsible for creating loyal customers by providing exceptional customer experiences through the accurate pulling, checking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. As well as maintain strict inventory accuracy through accurate and detailed check-in and put-away of our weekly stock order from Toro. Second Shift Details Daily working hours can range Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Training will occur during the day shift, and when ready, the team will transition to the second shift with a pay differential. To grow and build a successful career with Wesco Turf, you will be responsible for: Pick 500+ lines daily with 99.94% accuracy. Accurately pull and label parts for sales orders and service department. Assist customers with pickup orders when needed. Identify correct shipping methods for timely processing. Understand warehouse location system for efficiency. Match RGA paperwork to sales orders when necessary. Pull and pack freight orders for shipping via Wesco Turf truck or LTL. Put away return-to-stock items and maintain a clean work area. Pack 500+ lines daily, preventing damage and minimizing freight charges. Select appropriate box sizes and ensure proper packaging. Stock packing stations and inform Parts Manager of supplies needed. Conduct monthly box inventory. Ship up to 350 packages per day using UPS and FedEx systems. Ensure correct orders and labels are shipped to the right customer. Load packages onto carts for UPS pickup and maintain a clean workspace. Check in weekly stock orders, count, label, put away, and scan parts. Operate utility vehicles to transport parts to Service department. Learn and use computer systems, RF scan guns, and warehouse location system. Be fast-paced and responsive to peak periods. Perform closing duties, including locking gates, cleaning work areas, and ensuring all sales orders are shipped by 3:00 PM. Participate in weekly department meetings and maintain communication with colleagues. Replenish locations from overstock and pack stations with necessary items.

Requirements

  • Associates must be dependable as well as punctual.
  • Associates should be flexible and have a reliable form of transportation during all possible working hours of 3:00 P.M. to 11:30 P.M. Monday – Friday.
  • Associate should have the ability to take direction and follow instructions.
  • Associate should have the ability to work independently.
  • Associate should be creative and have good critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with sit down forklifts as well as standup forklifts a plus.
