About The Position

Support the Maintenance Department by managing and optimizing parts inventory across multiple sites, ensuring accurate stocking, timely availability of critical spares, and strong administrative coordination to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance parts, storeroom operations, inventory control, or purchasing support within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience using a CMMS (e.g., Fiix, SAP, MP2) for parts management, transactions, and inventory tracking strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills for inventory tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in inventory records.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites and travel between locations as required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to coordinate with maintenance, purchasing, and vendors.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and respond effectively in a fast-paced, maintenance-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Fiix, or other CMMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with maintenance terms, processes, and industrial equipment.
  • Basic understanding of parts procurement and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain maintenance spare-parts inventory across multiples sites, including travel between locations to audit stock levels and standardize practices.
  • Ensure accurate part setup, locations, min/max levels, and usage tracking within the CMMS FIIX
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder critical spares to prevent stockouts and unplanned downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel planners to forecast parts requirements for upcoming PMs and repairs.
  • Receive, label, stage, and issue parts; ensure correct part usage and CMMS transactions are completed accurately.
  • Assist with vendor management, including requesting quotes, processing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and CMMS records.
  • Track and report inventory KPIs such as inventory accuracy, turns, critical spares availability, and obsolete stock.
  • Support maintenance operations by expediting parts for breakdowns and coordinating inter-site transfers when needed.
  • Maintain organized storerooms and standardized inventory layouts across both sites to improve efficiency and accessibility.
