About The Position

Responsible for the day to day shipping and receiving duties, including freight company relations and warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Fork Lift Operator Knowledge Required
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence through determined spirit
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a Pre-employment physical

Responsibilities

• Receive shipment, confirm shipment is accurate
• Distribute received shipment to warehouse or appropriate Department
• Receipt of invoice for Inventory purposes
• Pick, stock and restock inventory
• Shipment of all packages via UPS, Fed EX and all other applicable methods
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed
• Assist in housekeeping duties including but not limited to: recycling materials, collecting/disposing of trash
• Assist in inventory functions including but not limited to: cycle counts, physical inventories and warehouse organization
• Interact with freight companies to provide the best freight solutions for the business
• Process applicable paperwork including but not limited to: freight bills, packing slips and bill of ladings.
