About The Position
At Boomerang Marine and Sports our goal is to be the premier destination for outdoor fun! We’re looking for a Parts & Service Manager for our Alexandria, MN location, to lead our service and parts departments, ensuring efficient operations, excellent customer service, and a productive team environment. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations for both departments, coordinate workflow between technicians and parts staff, and ensure customers receive high-quality service for their boats, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, PWCs, and other powersports equipment. We’re looking for a Parts & Service Manager who… Has an understanding of department profitability Excels at customer and employee relations Has the ability to manage a team Is reliable, professional, respectful, and courteous at all times Is comfortable using dealership management systems and technology (Lightspeed experience a plus) Is highly organized and able to multi-task Excels in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment Strictly adheres to Boomerang Marine and Sports’ company policies Boomerang Marine and Sports, with stores in Melrose and Alexandria, MN, is a 3rd generation family-owned dealership that sells, services, and outfits boats, ATVs and UTVs. Requirements
- Previous management or leadership experience in a service or parts department preferred
- Experience in marine, powersports, automotive, or dealership environments strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and maintain a productive shop environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
