About The Position

This position is responsible for the selling of parts to customers over-the-counter and providing necessary parts to the service department and by placing special orders for our customers. The role aims to meet or exceed monthly sales goals by driving sales through Aftermarket promotions. The employee may be required to perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor or other leadership as needed. The Company reserves the right to revise or modify job duties and responsibilities at any time based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively assist both internal and external customers.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate dealership software, email, and standard office applications.
  • Ability to learn and retain product knowledge, including parts identification and application.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate order processing and inventory control.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience in parts department operations preferred, preferably within an equipment or dealership environment.
  • Experience utilizing electronic parts catalogs and inventory management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
  • Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
  • Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
  • Verifies receipting-in or shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
  • Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.
  • Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager.
  • Assists in maintaining all department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.
  • Shall be able to multitask while consistently maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to work with a team or independently.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor to ensure that the highest level of customer experience is attained.
  • On occasion when deemed necessary deliver parts to customers utilizing company vehicles.
  • Participation in monthly branch and company on-call schedules as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned
