This position will cross train between our parts counter and warehouse to best assist our customers in Delmar as we continue to grow! As a Parts Counter/Warehouse Associate, your typical responsibilities include: Place Machine-Down Orders and stock parts in assigned locations in a timely manner. Process internal parts transfer requests. Supply Service Technicians with parts as required. Assist with preparing and maintain merchandise displays. Verifies receiving and receipting-in of parts shipments. Monitor shortages and expedites processing through reporting to Parts Manager. Keep work area and assigned warehouse areas neat, clean, and organized. Conduct daily cycle bin counts. Train in parts specialist capacity to cover the parts department counter for customer needs as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical or parts background, previous experience in a parts customer service or warehouse position highly preferred
  • Ability to assist customers via phone, walk in, and online
  • Forklift certification is a plus; must have ability to become forklift certified
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Uniform dress required
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is vital.
  • Must attend work regularly and to arrive at work on time.

Nice To Haves
