About The Position
The Parts Runner supports the operations of the pecan farm and tractor repair shop by efficiently transporting parts and supplies. This position ensures technicians and farm operations have timely access to necessary components, contributes to parts room organization, and assists with shop tasks during downtime.
Requirements
- Hardworking
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Excellent communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and capacity to lead
- Excellent capacity for teamwork
- Punctuality and reliability are critical
- High School Diploma
- Fluent Spanish is absolutely required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must pass a drug test
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver parts using a company-provided vehicle
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the parts room
- Assist with labeling, stocking, and inventory of parts
- Communicate clearly with vendors, shop manager, and technicians
- Lift up to 50 pounds safely and regularly
- Perform light physical labor and assist in the shop when not on deliveries
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Always follow safe driving and operating procedures
