About The Position

The Parts Inventory Associate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining department inventories in the main warehouse, as well as the service vehicles driven by technicians. This includes, but is not limited to, stock counts, organization, rotation of the main warehouse inventory, as well as picking inventory for new service vehicles and pulling inventory from retired service vehicles.

Requirements

  • Experience with Inventory Control processes is preferred.
  • Work experience with forklift parts, overhead commercial doors, loading dock levelers and other related warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • Background in warehouse inventory is a plus.
  • Possess strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, verbal, and written, with management and customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven, service environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematical skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products: Outlook; Excel; and Word.
  • Able to work without supervision. Occasionally, will work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs and across remote offices.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must have a valid state issued Driver’s License with a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driving record acceptable to insurance carrier.
  • The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and prepare parts from inventory to fulfill internal and external requests.
  • Support the receiving process by unloading, verifying, and organizing incoming stock orders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and clearly labeled warehouse environment, including bins, aisles, and storage areas.
  • Arrange and relocate inventory as needed to optimize storage efficiency and accessibility.
  • Assist with processing returned parts and ensure they are stored in designated return areas.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts for both the main warehouse and service vehicles to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Update electronic inventory records and part counts within the company’s computerized inventory management system.
  • Adhere to all company policies and OSHA safety regulations, ensuring safe work practices, proper material handling, and timely completion of required training.
  • Maintain a tidy work area by preventing material waste, avoiding property damage, and removing debris.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.
