About The Position

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac is currently searching for a Parts Runner to efficiently deliver parts and supplies from the Parts Department to Service Technicians throughout the dealership. This position plays a critical role in maintaining workflow in the service department by ensuring technicians receive the correct parts in a timely manner. The role requires constant walking, standing, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This is a mostly non-driving position and requires walking to and from the service bays to deliver parts.

Requirements

• Must have a valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years (DUI/DWI)
• Must be willing to take a preemployment drug screening test.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs with extensive sitting, walking, standing, and crouching.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:15 pm.

Nice To Haves

• Previous parts or warehousing experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and deliver parts from the Parts Department to Service Technicians on the service lot or in the shop.
• Verify that the correct parts are being delivered by matching part numbers and descriptions.
• Communicate with parts counter staff and service personnel to clarify needs or resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the parts delivery areas and return bins.
• Pick up and return parts as needed for warranty, cores, or incorrect orders.
• Assist with parts inventory organization and restocking when needed.
• Safely handle parts and use appropriate carts or equipment for transport.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the dealership in a positive manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies.
