About The Position

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Parts Runner/Yard Helper. We’re looking for candidates with a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. Position Overview The Parts Runner/Yard Helper plays a vital role in supporting Stepp’s daily operations by ensuring the safe transport and efficient yard maintenance. This versatile position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and solve problems as they arise.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to lift, crawl, pull, bend, reach, and climb as needed.
• Significant physical strength and stamina required.
• Frequent use of hands and the ability to sit for prolonged periods while maintaining alertness.
• Working in an outside environment.
• Passionate, motivated, and open to growth and challenges.
• Proactively build customer relationships and provide thoughtful solutions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent Stepp’s with pride.

Responsibilities

• Parts Runner (Must be approved to drive)
• Maintain and clean the yard by removing waste and debris
• Install Stepp’s Tow Away signs as required.
• Washing trucks and trailers
• Communicate effectively using a CB radio when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned according to job needs.
