We are seeking a dedicated Parts Room Attendant for our maintenance shop. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities by managing inventory, receiving and storing parts, and maintaining a safe work environment. Requirements
- Basic computer skills are required.
Nice To Haves
- General knowledge and experience with parts and tools are preferred.
- Inventory experience is also desirable.
- Proficiency with Excel and SAP is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Distribute tools, parts, and equipment to workers, maintaining accurate records of items issued and returned.
- Control and organize parts room inventory, ensuring all items are properly stocked and identified.
- Identify and order necessary parts and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Maintain all required records pertaining to maintenance parts, including tracking usage and managing documentation.
- Assist in locating lost or misplaced tools and parts.
- Provide support to maintenance personnel by ensuring they have the necessary tools and parts to perform their tasks efficiently.
