About The Position

This position is responsible for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves managing inventory, ordering necessary parts, maintaining records, assisting in locating items, and supporting maintenance personnel.

Requirements

General knowledge and computer skills are required.
No disciplinary action in the last 12 months.
No more than 4 attendance points.
Must be in current role at least 6 months.

Nice To Haves

General knowledge and experience with parts and tools preferred.
Inventory experience is also preferred.
Experience with Excel & SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

Distribute tools, parts, and equipment to workers and maintain accurate records of items issued and returned.
Control parts room inventory, ensuring that all items are properly stocked, identified, and organized.
Identify and order necessary parts and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Initiate and maintain all required records pertaining to maintenance parts, including tracking usage and managing documentation.
Assist in locating lost or misplaced tools and parts.
Provide support to maintenance personnel by ensuring they have the necessary tools and parts to perform their tasks efficiently.
