About The Position

Phil Long Ford of Motor City is searching for a Parts Puller. This is an entry level, hourly, position working in a fast-paced environment. The perfect candidate will have a strong work ethic and strong attention to detail. Job Summary: A Parts Puller is responsible for pulling parts for delivery or for customer pick up.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Detailed clerical, inventory, and shipping/receiving experience.
Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Automotive parts knowledge preferred.
Lift 60-70 pounds
Able to be Forklift Certified
Go up and down stairs multiple times a day
Not be confused by letters and numbers in combinations
Have basic math skills
Be punctual
Have exceptional attendance, Mon-Fri
Know the nomenclature for common automobile parts
Have a desire to learn the parts business
Clean driving record
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

Automotive parts knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Pull parts from designated locations based on a ticket or parts invoice, with 100% accuracy, and stage for delivery or will call in the appropriate bins.
Communicate any inventory discrepancies to the sales team.
Assist with stock keeping duties when necessary.
Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.
Responsible for routine picking, receiving, shipping and packing parts.
Preparing orders for shipment
Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Ability to perform accurate and detailed work.
