About The Position

ordering parts/maintenance materials in emergencies or as needed receiving items/parts in to the parts room releasing/issuing items/parts and tools from the parts room maintaining the items/parts inventory in parts room performing administrative tasks related to parts room inventory management other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • high school diploma or its equivalent
  • knowledge of the operations of a parts room
  • be at least 20 years old
  • ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
  • a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)
  • ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial
  • ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds
  • successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position) Computation Following Written Directions and Visual Speed and Accuracy
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system
  • ability to read, write and solve math problems
  • ability to read and interpret schematics, and technical and parts manuals
  • ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
  • ability to multi-task and work independently with little or no supervision
  • ability to handle confidential information
  • ability to work well with others and be a team member
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • current Industrial Maintenance associate
  • Associate’s degree in Business
  • 3 years of prior experience in an industrial parts room environment or inventory related experience
  • knowledge of the operation of a parts room in an industrial setting
  • knowledge of basic accounting principles and statistical data ana
