About The Position

The Parts OSR is responsible for maintaining and expanding the company's customer base within a specific geographic territory. You will act as a consultant to professional repair facilities, ensuring they have the right inventory and technical support to keep their operations running.

Requirements

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in generating leads and closing deals in a field environment.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts, manufacturer programs and ordering systems.
  • Communication: Ability to explain technical specifications and pricing structures clearly.
  • Mobility: A clean driving record is almost always required, as a significant portion of the day is spent traveling to client sites.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Professional References are required.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Regularly visit existing wholesale accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities.
  • New Business Development: Identify and "cold call" potential new clients (shops, fleets, or contractors) to pitch the benefits of your parts program.
  • Technical Consulting: Assist customers in selecting the required parts or accessories for complex repairs or specialized software training.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor local competitors' pricing and services to stay competitive in the territory.
  • Order Coordination: Work closely with the internal "Parts Counter" or "Parts Professional" teams to ensure accurate deliveries and returns.
