About The Position

Experienced Parts Manager A growing automotive group is looking for a qualified Parts Manager. This person will have outstanding interpersonal skills as well as the discipline and drive to put in the work necessary to be successful. As a Parts Manager, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We are looking for someone who works hard, communicates clearly, and is interested in a real career with long term potential. Pay: $90,000 to $110,000. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent communication skills to work with various departments
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Organized and able to maintain a clean and well stocked inventory
  • Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
  • Ability to calculate figures/amounts including; discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, %, area, circumference, and volume
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of most makes/models and related parts is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status.
  • Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts.
  • Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers.
  • Hold Counter People accountable for doing daily tasks
  • Regularly maintain and stock parts inventory for routine servicing of vehicles
  • Communicate with service department regarding parts used and document for upcoming orders
  • Research and assess current and potential vendors to maximize quality of parts for purchase price
  • Submit purchase orders to vendors and monitor shipments; inform management or service department of any delays that may impact service appointments
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and parts department to ensure all parts are used effectively and stock is replenished
  • Document and submit any purchase orders to management or applicable accounting representative
