About The Position

Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop and wholesales accounts. Establish pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty. Work with the service manager and the body shop manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs. Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all parts department staff. Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the parts department. Analyze sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals. Develop and administer an aggressive wholesale parts program to produce profit. Analyze departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness. Direct outside parts and counter sales efforts, including a telemarketing program to keep in contact with customers. Assist in the collection of past due accounts Enforce safety requirements, including but not limited to: processing MSDS sheets on all products carried and OSHA Right - to – Know. Understand and keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that may affect parts sales. Ability to work in a fast paced high volume department. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • ADP Experience a MUST
  • Experience managing 5+ employees
  • 5-10+ years experience
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include: background check, MVR, and drug testing in order to qualify for employment.
