About The Position

The Parts Lead Representative is responsible for overseeing Parts Operations and providing input to the manager/supervisor. Extensive background including all skills and abilities required for Parts Warehouse Associate II and/or Parts Advisor II.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work overtime as a job requirement dependent on department needs.
  • Weekend, holiday or evening work may be required.
  • Must be able to pass Work Step test for this position.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a culture that is focused on employee growth, development, and overall teamwork.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional and safe (COPS) work environment.
  • Responsible for compliance with all WCAT rules and regulations regarding a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Advanced knowledge in all skills and abilities required of Parts Associate II and/or Parts Advisor II.
  • Provide daily direction to team members.
  • Ensure that daily safety huddle meetings are held, and all safety procedures are followed.
  • Lead safety excellence and overall compliance within Parts Operations.
  • Ability to train team members in all aspects of their job duties.
  • Oversees Parts Operations special projects as assigned.
  • Seek innovation and continuous improvement in all areas of Parts Operations.
  • Ability to understand, create, and review Parts Operations reports.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints/issues as they arise.
  • Provide input to supervisor/manager into team members performance evaluations. Communicate with supervisor regarding team members performance.
  • Lead and develop team members to improve capability and performance.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts/jobs as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
