About The Position

The overall function of this job is to assist customers inside the parts department directly or with phone orders and enter orders into computer.

Requirements

  • General computer and word processing experience is highly regarded
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required
  • Ability to work independently without continuous direction or supervision
  • Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Wait on customers, filling orders, requisitioning parts or supplying information as necessary
  • Unpack, log, and prioritize any returns
  • Check in freight and UPS orders
  • Receive items into inventory
  • Put-up freight and UPS orders
  • Put-up and load customers’ orders
  • Accurately package, label and stock inventory items
  • Use the computer to process receiving
  • Assist with inventory control
  • Load trucks in the yard
  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers over the phone and in-person
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by parts department staff.
