About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Counter Associate to join our Kia dealership. This role is responsible for assisting internal and external customers with parts inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and sales-driven, with the ability to build strong relationships and maximize parts revenue.
Requirements
- Automotive parts experience required (Kia, Hyundai experience is a plus)
- Wholesale parts sales experience strongly preferred
- CDK experience is a plus
- Strong communication, follow-up, and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Highly organized with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Assist service technicians, advisors, and retail customers at the parts counter
- Process internal, retail, and wholesale orders accurately and efficiently
- Develop, maintain, and grow wholesale accounts (body shops, repair facilities)
- Proactively follow up on quotes, backorders, and open opportunities
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate inventory control and organization
- Process returns, credits, and warranty parts per manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate effectively with service and sales departments
