Dolan Auto Group, named Best Place to Work in Northern Nevada, is looking for a Parts Department Driver to work in our parts department to ensure the correct parts are delivered and received in a safe and timely manner to the correct destination. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Verify that the correct parts are included in the shipment. Stock shelves with incoming parts. Deliver parts intercompany and to independent repair facilities. Make sure parts are delivered on time. Input parts inventory into our system scanning via scanning solutions. Notify your manager if there are any discrepancies in the delivery. Inspect delivery vehicle to make sure it is up to date with its services & maintenance. Clear debris of parts packaging maintain a clean workspace, empty garbage cans daily & sweep the department. Providing safe, timely, and correct parts deliveries to our wholesale customers. Establishing an efficient route of delivery. Maintaining professional attitude, conduct, and experience. Operating the delivery vehicle (car, van, or pick-up) in a safe and cautious fashion to maintain a clean driving record

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and cleaning driving background.
  • Comfortable driving a Sprinter van.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Repetitive body movement such as squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast paced walking and light jogging when necessary.
  • Lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds without assistance at various times.
  • Exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
